Alumni Golf Classic comes to Napanee Golf and Country Club Sept. 17

NAPANEE – Raiders fans can join their favourite players on the links at the 2022 Alumni Golf Classic Saturday, Sept. 17, which moves to the Napanee Golf and Country Club after several years at the Loyalist Golf and Country Club.

“We have a great rapport with Loyalist and have enjoyed our events there,  but we’re really excited to be able to have this year’s tournament back in Napanee,” said general manager Adam Bramburger. “‘The Grandaddy’ is a challenging, historic course and we think it will be a great place for fans to come out and participate.  We thank Milt Rose and his team for welcoming us with open arms.”

This year’s event includes an 18-hole scramble with cart, dinner, and a series of on-course competitions.  One confirmed event is a $10,000 hole-in-one, presented by McDougall Insurance.  Other traditions like silent and live auctions, including the famed pie auction will also live on.

Registration is $120 per golfer.  Spaces are limited, so foursomes are encouraged to register today at napaneeraiders@gmail.com.  Advance booking and payment is preferred.  Please also note that due to NG&CC policy, full COVID-19 vaccination will be required for this event.

The tournament also provides a great opportunity for local businesses to promote themselves before a captive audience.  Hole signage is available for $100 through the above email.  The Raiders also have a range of corporate partnership opportunities for the 2022-2023 hockey season, many of which include exposure at the tournament. Please inquire for details.
