Unfortunately, due to the COVID-19 outbreak, Hockey Canada made a decision to suspend the 2019-2020 season as of Friday, March 13. As word spread of the announcement the previous evening, the Raiders extended their post-season record to 6-0 with a 3-1 win in Picton. Napanee was two wins from its 11th division championship and advancing into the Schmalz Cup rounds. While disappointed in not being able to defend its PJHL championship, the Raiders organization respects Hockey Canada’s decision.
The Napanee Raiders Junior Hockey Club would like to thank its business partners, sponsors, fans, competitors and on-ice and off-ice officials for their support and work throughout the season. Also, a special thank you to our players, staff, volunteers and executive members for all your efforts. We are looking forward to working with you all next year.
