The Napanee Raiders are looking forward to returning to the ice for the 2021-2022 PJHL season. It is expected there will be a full schedule within the six-team Tod Division, provided the requisite approvals are in place from the Province and local health units.
To that end, the last team to lift the Schmalz Cup are expected to open training camp at the Strathcona Paper Centre on Aug. 24, 2021. Coach Ben Hagerman and his bench staff will return and they’re expecting a competitive camp with many returnees on the ice. With several players graduating due to age or advancement, there will be opportunity to earn a position.
The first two ice times of camp will be Aug. 24 from 8-9:30 p.m. and Aug. 26 from 6:30-8 p.m. Hopefuls are encouraged to register via the “Recruiting” link on this website. There will be a $40 fee to attend, e-transfer to napaneeraiders@gmail.com. Permission to skate is required and full equipment, including neck guards and full facial protection, is mandatory.
